Maintenance 50 Hours
line

Note: 50 hours of operation is an approximate and can be done either before or slightly after 50 hours.

This procedure is in addition to maintenance required after each use in clean or dirty water.

All of the LBV thrusters have a special grease gallery around the shaft seal. There is an outer debris O-ring and an inner cup seal with grease in the middle. The grease is a special type and supplied in Generation 2 spares kits. By simply removing the grease gallery seal screw and pushing new grease into the gallery with the included syringe you ensure your thruster shaft seal is in proper condition.

In our Procedures Manual section of the website is a full breakdown of the required procedure to renew the grease in each of the thrusters on your LBV. Click here to view the procedure.
