 Description
There is a growing requirement to be able to monitor and inspect pipelines both internally and externally. Long line applications are not simply limited to pipelines but all require the ability to pull that extra cable. The ability to easily transport a small ROV system and perform a long distance inspection offers a great reduction in time and money.
Solution
LBV is the only small ROV with options to pull up to 750 meters (2,460ft) of tether at depths up to 300 meters (1,000ft). To accomplish the goal of pulling the additional tether the LBV has been designed with two (2) additional forward thrusters. Each thruster is the more powerful Brushless DC type with a total combined pulling power of 12.7kgf (28lbs). It is amazing to see.
